About

I've worked both sides of the pass.

"I spent 8 years in restaurants. I know what actually hurts — and I know how to fix it."

From 2012 to 2020 I worked in the restaurant industry, watching owners pour everything into their craft while getting buried in operational work that had nothing to do with food.

I moved into software and AI, and I've spent the last few years building the tools I wish restaurant operators had. Not slide decks about AI strategy — actual working systems that plug into real kitchens and give real time back.

Cavnar AI is based in Chicago. I work exclusively with independent restaurants and hospitality businesses.
